Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with local restaurants, retail, and service businesses, and driving growth for Tatbeeqi’s online ordering solution. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and outreach, conducting product demos, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to align offerings with market needs, gather feedback from merchants, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, reporting on business development activities, and representing Tatbeeqi at meetings, events, and industry gatherings.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Experience in account management and client relationship building within B2B or SaaS environments.
- Solid understanding of online ordering, digital platforms, or technology solutions for restaurants and retail businesses.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities and inform growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; Arabic language skills highly preferred.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Comfort working on-site in Amman, Jordan and meeting clients in person across local markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in the hospitality, restaurant, or retail sector is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and collaborative, with a focus on supporting local businesses and delivering results.
