Role Description
The Senior Visa & Immigration Officer is a full-time, on-site role located in Amman, Jordan. This position is responsible for overseeing and processing visa and immigration applications, including , handeling -end -to -end Visa applications such as , Schengen, USA (B1/B2, F1, Family-Based Immigration), United Kingdom , Australia , and other international visa categories. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance, advising clients on requirements and procedures, and managing case files from initial assessment through final submission . The senior officer will coordinate with consulates, embassies, and relevant authorities, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure that internal policies align with current immigration laws.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide professional visa and immigration consultations.
· Assess applicants' eligibility.
· Prepare complete visa applications and supporting documentation.
· Complete all required online application forms.
· Review documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Prepare clients for embassy interviews.
· Monitor applications until final decisions are issued.
· Communicate with embassies and visa application centers when required.
· Keep up to date with immigration laws and embassy requirements.
· Update client records through the CRM system.
· Maintain high approval rates through quality case preparation.
The role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of service standards and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong background in immigration and immigration law, with experience interpreting and applying visa regulations and policies.
- Proven customer service skills, including client advisory, case management, and clear communication with diverse populations.
- Experience in law enforcement, compliance, or regulatory environments, with attention to detail and risk mitigation.
- Ability to provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members on immigration procedures and client service standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in translation, English, International Relations, Public Administration, or any related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic as well.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.
- Prior experience in visa processing, consular services, or immigration consulting in Jordan or the region is required .
