Performance & Quality Lead - Vyltic
Vyltic is the infrastructure padel was missing, one network that connects Jordan's venues and players. We run a platform for venues and an app for players, wrapped with an in-house agency, consulting and quality assurance for the venues. A one stop shop for padel to start, and the sports ecosystem as a whole. We came from inside venue operations before we wrote a line of code, and we're growing across the region. Small team, A-players only. We move fast, and we fix things in the system, not the moment.
The role
We already measure ourselves. We run daily scoring on our operating rules, a quality-review system for customer interactions, KPIs, SOPs, and weekly scorecards for our customer team. It works, but it lives in separate places and covers only one corner of the company. In our own quality playbook: "Customer Ops is where we are starting, not where we are stopping."
You are who takes it everywhere else.
We're hiring a Performance & Quality Lead to own and rebuild how Vyltic measures itself as it scales. Take what we have, make it better, and turn it into one clean system that covers every person and every department. This is a build seat, not a maintenance one. If you see a smarter way to do any of it, that is the job.
What you'll own
- Unify what we run today, operating-rules scoring, quality reviews, KPIs and SOPs, into one performance system instead of separate sheets.
- Build and guard the culture as a system, not a slogan. Put measurable structure around what usually goes unmeasured, how we communicate, how we hold the values, how aligned we stay on priorities, so culture has KPIs and early signals, tied to no single title.
- Tailor the role layer on top: KPIs per department, per title, per person, so everyone has a clear, fair standard for their actual job.
- Own the weekly and monthly scorecards, per employee and per department, rolling one into the other and tied to our internal rules and regulations, so the standard, the score and the consequence are one system.
- Build the recognition system that keeps our A-players driven. The people setting the bar get seen and rewarded on merit, not seniority or noise, so top talent stays hungry and stays.
- Extend quality and performance from Customer Ops to every function. This is already our written plan, you execute it.
- Treat iteration speed and efficiency as tracked metrics, not vibes. Find the friction, remove it, keep us fast as we grow.
- Track everything that touches performance, compliance and efficiency across the company, on and off shift, and build the dashboards and tooling that make it visible and near-automatic, so nothing depends on you being in the room.
- Keep it fair and keep it fast: measured coaching, monthly calibration, logged overrides, zero bureaucracy. Guard the operating model and the standard we set.
What we need from you
- You've built measurement or operational-excellence systems in the real world, KPIs, SOPs, quality or performance, not just run someone else's.
- You're fluent in data and tooling. You turn messy reality into clean numbers, scorecards and dashboards, and you're comfortable with automation and no-code tools.
- You understand people, not just process. You know what keeps a high performer motivated, and you can make something as soft as culture measurable without killing what makes it work.
- You're obsessive about standards and allergic to friction at the same time. You know the difference between rigor and bureaucracy.
- You move at startup speed. You'd rather ship a v1 this week and improve it than design the perfect system over a quarter.
- You can hold people to a standard without becoming the enemy: fair, clear, consistent.
- Bonus: ops-heavy, service or multi-location business experience, and an eye for CX and compliance.
Why this role
Quality isn't a nice-to-have at Vyltic, it's part of how we hold ourselves to the standard we hold everyone else to. You'll build the system the whole company runs on, and the culture and standard it holds itself to, as it grows. Founder-direct, real ownership, no bureaucracy to wade through. If you want to build the operating system of a fast company from the inside, this is the seat.
