Responsibilities:
1. Handle customer inquiries promptly and efficiently through various channels (in person, email,
or phone) while the outdoor sales team is on visits.
2. Ensure smooth communication and uninterrupted service by obtaining rates, preparing offers,
sending them to customers, and following up.
3. Coordinate with shipping lines and NVOCC lines to negotiate and secure special rates when requested by customers.
4. Promote and sell the company's shipping and transport services by renegotiating rate offers with
our shipping line representatives and securing confirmations for approved rates.
5. Conduct research to monitor competitor activities, including new shipping routes, pricing structures, and industry trends, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
6. Engage with customers to understand their specific needs and offer tailored solutions, strengthening relationships and enhancing satisfaction.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts, identifying potential growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years' sales support experience in a shipping company.
· Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in RORO, Containers, and Forwarding is an advantage.
