Role Purpose
The Senior HR Officer – Lead will manage the full HR cycle for the Jordan operation, acting as the senior HR point of contact on the ground while reporting to the HR Regional Manager in Kuwait. The role covers end-to-end recruitment, payroll inputs, income tax and social security compliance, employee relations, and HR operations, with hands-on ownership of the MenaITech HRMS.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: workforce planning, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and the regional office on manpower plans and approvals.
- Build talent pipelines and maintain a structured candidate database.
Payroll, Tax & Social Security
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leaves, allowances, deductions, overtime).
- Ensure full compliance with Jordan income tax regulations and monthly/annual filings.
- Manage Social Security Corporation (SSC) registrations, contributions, terminations, and reporting.
- Handle end-of-service calculations, final settlements, and related statutory obligations.
HR Operations & MenaITech
- Administer the full employee lifecycle on MenaITech (MenaHR, MenaPay, MenaME): records, contracts, transactions, and reports.
- Maintain accurate employee files, contracts, and HR documentation in line with Jordan Labor Law.
- Manage leave, attendance, medical insurance, and employee benefits administration.
- Issue HR letters, handle work permits/residencies where applicable, and support audits.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure policies and procedures comply with Jordan Labor Law and company standards.
- Support performance management cycles, probation reviews, and exit processes.
Reporting & Regional Coordination
- Provide regular HR reports, headcount analytics, and payroll summaries to the HR Regional Manager in Kuwait.
- Align local HR practices with regional policies and lead local implementation of group HR initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience covering the full HR cycle, preferably in IT, systems integration, or a multinational environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Jordan income tax and Social Security regulations and filings.
- Proven full-cycle recruitment experience for technical and corporate roles.
- Solid working experience with MenaITech HRMS is required.
- Good knowledge of Jordan Labor Law
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, both written and spoken.
