Reports to: Owner / Founder
Location: Al Bayader, on-site, full-time
About the role
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our marketing. This is a senior, hands-on role. You set the plan and you carry it out yourself, across every channel, without needing day-to-day direction. Events are a big part of the job. You will run them end to end and work with outside partners to make them happen.
What you will own (key responsibilities)
1- Strategy and planning
Build and own the monthly and quarterly marketing plan and calendar across all brands and channels.
Set clear goals for each campaign and report on what worked and what did not.
Manage the marketing budget and keep spend in line with results.
Plan in a structured way. Use spreadsheets, budgets, and formulas to weigh options and make decisions you can back with numbers.
2-Brand and trade marketing
Plan and run campaigns and activations with our brand principals.
Keep our plans in line with principal guidelines and make full use of trade marketing funds.
Support the sales team with materials, promotions, and product launches for retailers.
3-Social, digital and content
Own our social media and content across platforms.
Plan the content calendar, brief designers, and keep our online presence active and consistent.
4-Paid ads and e-commerce
Plan and manage paid campaigns (Meta, Google, and others) and track return on spend.
Grow our online sales channels and support listings on marketplaces and retailer platforms.
5-Events and activations
Own events from A to Z: concept, budget, suppliers, logistics, setup, run day, and wrap-up.
Work with outside partners, venues, principals, and sponsors to put events together.
Run events so the owner no longer needs to be involved in them.
Plan in-store activations, point-of-sale material, sampling, and seasonal promotions.
Coordinate displays and stock visibility with the sales and trade teams.
6-Execution, suppliers and reporting
Run the day-to-day marketing work across every channel yourself, from planning through to delivery.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in marketing, with real experience in FMCG, consumer goods, distribution, or retail.
A track record running the full marketing mix, not just one channel.
- Experience working with brand principals and trade marketing (a strong plus).
- Hands-on across social, paid ads, and content. You can build and run campaigns yourself.
- Analytical by nature. You work from data and numbers, read what the results are telling you, and base your next move on that.
- Comfortable owning a budget and deciding where to spend.
- Organised and independent. You can run marketing on your own and bring structure to it.
- A hands-on marketer who likes doing the work, not just planning it. You will be the one making the posts, briefs, ads, and campaigns.
- Comfortable owning events from A to Z, from the first plan to the final wrap-up.
- Confident working with outside partners, venues, principals, and sponsors, and representing Sukljian without the owner in the room.
- Strong with spreadsheets. You plan, budget, and make decisions with structured sheets and formulas, not guesswork.
- Able to manage outside suppliers and agencies.
- Fully fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equal experience.
Nice to have
Experience at a distributor or with major FMCG brands.
Design or content skills (Canva, Adobe, video).
What success looks like in the first 6 to 12 months:
- A clear marketing plan and calendar in place across all brands.
- Active, consistent social and content with steady growth.
- Principal campaigns and trade funds used well and on time.
- Simple, regular reporting the owner can rely on.
