Role Description The Accountant will manage daily financial operations for Ehssan Jewelry, including recording transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring cash flow, handling vendor and customer accounts, and supporting inventory valuation for gold and jewelry. The role will also involve preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, requiring close collaboration with the shop management and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including ledger management, account reconciliation, and transaction recording.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to create and maintain structured financial records.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Understanding of local accounting regulations and tax requirements in Jordan.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, and management teams.
- Prior experience in retail, jewelry, or inventory-focused environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
