About The Role
Location: Amman Jordan
The Business Development Officer is responsible for supporting school acquisition through lead generation, school outreach, visits, follow-ups, product introductions, and CRM updates. The role supports the growth of JoAcademy’s EdTech solutions by identifying potential schools and helping move them through the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential school leads through research, referrals, calls, and market mapping.
- Build and maintain a list of target schools and key contacts.
- Contact schools to introduce JoAcademy’s EdTech solutions.
- Qualify leads based on school needs, interest level, and fit.
School Visits & Presentations
- Conduct regular school visits and introductory meetings.
- Present JoAcademy and School++ solutions to school coordinators, admins, principals, or decision-makers.
- Explain product benefits clearly and professionally.
- Support demo scheduling and follow-up actions.
Sales Pipeline Support
- Follow up with prospects after calls, meetings, and demos.
- Support the Business Development Manager in moving opportunities through the pipeline.
- Assist in preparing proposals, meeting notes, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with product and client success teams when needed.
CRM, Reporting & Market Feedback
- Update CRM records with all calls, visits, meetings, and
follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate contact and opportunity information.
- Submit daily or weekly activity reports.
- Collect school feedback, objections, and common requirements.
- Share insights with the BD Manager and B2B Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, IT, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer-facing roles, or school services.
- Experience in EdTech, LMS, SIS, educational platforms, or school-related solutions is required.
- Experience dealing with schools, teachers, coordinators, or administrators.
- Valid driving license and own car.
Required Skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong follow-up and organization skills.
- Ability to conduct field visits and represent the company professionally.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of school environments and client needs.
- CRM experience, preferably Bitrix.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
- Good computer skills, including Excel or Google Sheets.
