About The Role
Location: Amman Jordan
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving B2B growth by acquiring new school clients, building strategic relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and converting qualified opportunities into signed deals or successful pilots. The role requires strong commercial discipline, school-sector knowledge, and the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify, approach, and acquire new school clients.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified school opportunities.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop growth plans for assigned territories or school segments.
School Relationship Building
- Build relationships with school owners, principals, academic directors, IT managers, and decision-makers.
- Conduct school visits, discovery meetings, and strategic presentations.
- Understand each school’s pain points, current systems, and decision-making process.
- Position JoAcademy’s EdTech solutions based on each school’s needs and priorities.
Product Presentation & Demo Coordination
- Present JoAcademy and School++ solutions professionally to school stakeholders.
- Coordinate product demos with product or client success teams when needed.
- Explain solution value, implementation approach, pricing, and expected impact.
- Support pilot discussions, success criteria, and commercial follow-up.
Pipeline, Proposals & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate and updated CRM records, preferably on Bitrix.
- Track leads, opportunities, meeting outcomes, proposals, and next steps.
- Prepare regular sales pipeline updates and forecasts.
- Prepare and support commercial proposals and negotiations.
- Monitor school needs, competitor activity, objections, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account acquisition.
- Previous experience in EdTech, LMS, SIS, school solutions, educational platforms, or school services.
- Strong experience dealing with private schools and senior school decision-makers.
- Valid driving license and own car.
Required Skills
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to close deals.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Strong understanding of school operations and buying behavior.
- CRM experience, preferably Bitrix.
- Sales funnel management and forecasting discipline.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
