Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan, for a Senior Sales Manager. We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Sales Manager to build and lead Al Salwa’s sales function, drive commercial growth, expand our market reach, and create the systems and team capabilities needed to support our next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
- Establish sales processes, pipelines, forecasting, and reporting systems.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, bookstores, schools, and institutions.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining healthy profit margins.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of successful sales and business development experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing markets.
- Experience building teams, processes, and sales strategies.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to travel to events, and book fairs as needed
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Publishing experience is welcome but not essential. We welcome applications from accomplished sales professionals from other industries who have demonstrated success in growing markets, developing customer relationships, and building high-performing sales teams.
