Job Summary
The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of parking facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused services. The role includes managing staff, supervising parking systems and equipment, handling customer issues, ensuring revenue accountability, and maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Manage day-to-day operations of parking facilities, including surface car parks, multi-storey car parks, and valet operations.
* Ensure smooth vehicle flow and efficient utilization of parking spaces.
* Monitor parking occupancy, traffic conditions, and operational performance.
* Implement operational procedures and service standards.
Staff Supervision
* Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise parking attendants, cashiers, control room operators, and supervisors.
* Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide coaching where necessary.
* Ensure proper manpower deployment during peak periods and special events.
Customer Service
* Address customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
* Ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism.
* Coordinate with tenants, building management, event organizers, and external stakeholders when required.
Revenue & Financial Control
* Monitor parking revenue collection and reconciliation processes.
* Ensure accurate reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue.
* Prevent revenue leakage and enforce internal control procedures.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Maintenance & Systems Management
* Oversee maintenance of parking equipment such as:
* Automated barriers
* Ticketing systems
* License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems
* Payment kiosks
* CCTV and security systems
* Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and preventive maintenance.
* Ensure minimal system downtime.
Safety & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local authority requirements.
* Conduct routine inspections of facilities and identify operational risks.
* Implement emergency response procedures and incident reporting.
Reporting & Administration
* Prepare operational and management reports.
* Analyze parking data, occupancy trends, and operational KPIs.
* Recommend improvements for operational efficiency and customer experience.
Business Development Support
* Support implementation of new parking technologies and digital payment solutions.
* Assist management in launching new parking sites and operational expansions.
* Participate in tender submissions and operational planning when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma or Degree
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in parking operations, facilities management, transport operations, or related industries.
* Experience managing teams and shift operations.
* Familiarity with automated parking systems and cashless payment platforms is an advantage.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
