Position Summary
Kattan Group is seeking a dynamic and design-oriented professional to build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and engineering firms. The role focuses on promoting the company’s product range, presenting new innovations, supporting specification activities, and increasing the inclusion of Kattan Group products in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
The ideal candidate will combine technical design knowledge with strong communication and relationship-building skills, while also supporting showroom sales and customer consultations when not attending external meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Development & Specification Support
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and engineering offices.
- Conduct regular visits and presentations to design and consulting firms to introduce the company’s product portfolio, materials, finishes, and innovations.
- Promote specification of company products in ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Follow up on projects from concept stage through execution to maximize specification opportunities.
- Organize product presentations, sample submissions, and technical demonstrations.
Design Consultation & Sales Support
- Provide design guidance and technical consultation to clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Assist clients in selecting suitable materials, finishes, and solutions based on project requirements.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and preliminary design recommendations.
- Coordinate internally with sales, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Product & Market Development
- Identify market trends, customer requirements, and gaps within the current product range.
- Provide feedback and recommendations regarding new products, finishes, and innovations that could strengthen the company’s offering.
- Monitor competitor activity and market developments relevant to the architecture and interior design industry.
Showroom Support
- Assist showroom visitors and support showroom sales activities during non-meeting hours.
- Ensure products and displays are presented professionally and aligned with the company’s brand image.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Previous experience in architectural products, interior finishes, kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, building materials, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, interior finishes, and design processes.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prepare quotations and provide design-oriented consultations.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar is a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to attend external meetings regularly.
