Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Engineer role based in Amman. The Business Development Engineer will identify and qualify new business opportunities, and support the development of proposals and bids. The role includes analyzing market trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and technical offerings. Daily tasks include preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, market research, and project coordination.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in business development and proposal preparation, preferably in the engineering field.
- Experience in preparing EOIs and Technical proposals for donor-funded projects financed by international financial institutions (IFIs) and development agencies.
- Proven experience in business development activities, ideally within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Effective communication skills to represent the firm and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferable architecture or civil engineering)
- Proficiency in MS Office, with familiarity in Adobe InDesign and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
