MS Pharma is seeking an experienced and transformational Head of Operations to lead and elevate our manufacturing operations.
Job Summary
This executive role will drive operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People while leading the site transformation toward a high-performing, future-ready manufacturing organization. The role requires a strategic leader with strong pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the manufacturing and operations strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead site operations across production, engineering, planning, and supply processes
- Drive operational excellence initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, HSE, regulatory, and quality standards
- Optimize operational performance, productivity, efficiency, and cost structures
- Lead organizational capability building, succession planning, and leadership development
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, and Commercial teams
- Drive digitalization, sustainability, and business continuity initiatives within operations
- Ensure audit readiness and successful regulatory inspections
- Develop a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Operations, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality operations
- At least 5 years in senior plant or manufacturing leadership roles
- Strong experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environments
- Proven track record in operational transformation and cost optimization
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities
- Fluent in Arabic and English
