About The Role
Location : Amman, Jordan
Contract Type : Full Time
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our centres (training, educational, and community). You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits — ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Manage financial records and monthly closings for centers.
- Prepare/review journal entries related to center transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure transaction accuracy.
- Track center-level budgets and spending trends.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across cost centers.
- Coordinate with center managers for financial planning.
- Support external audits with necessary documentation.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external financial policies.
- Recommend improvements in accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5–9 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, including 2+ years managing cost centers.
- Must have experience in school finance systems.
- Strong experience in AP & Treasury
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost allocation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems- Odoo.
- Previous experience in educational/training organizations is a plus.
- High attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
