About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented Safety Specialist to support and oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental practices across all company sites. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting risk assessments, monitoring workplace safety standards, supporting audits and inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal departments and external authorities to maintain a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environment (HSE).
- Certified in Occupational Safety & Health.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards and audit practices.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Good knowledge of fire prevention and emergency response procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
- Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure employees follow occupational health and safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting processes.
- Coordinate HSE training sessions, emergency drills, and safety awareness activities for employees.
- Monitor fire safety systems, emergency equipment, and evacuation procedures across all company sites.
