About the Role:
We are looking for a Laboratory Associate to support quality control and assurance activities by conducting laboratory tests and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. The role involves analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement in laboratory operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in food Industry, Microbiology, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in laboratory or quality field
- Good communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and environmental samples.
- Report test deviations and quality issues to the supervisor and support investigation processes.
- Ensure proper handling and quarantine of non-conforming products to prevent mix-ups.
- Collect and analyze samples carefully to avoid contamination and ensure accurate test results.
- Monitor laboratory supplies, perform equipment calibration, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and compliance with GMP and HSE standards, including participation in audits and daily inspections.
