Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Accountant, based in Amman, Jordan. The Accountant will oversee and manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budget preparation. The Accountant will also analyze financial data to drive business decisions and support the company's objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial reporting, accounts reconciliation, and budgeting
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional experience in accounting; prior experience in the electromechanical or trading industry is an advantage
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Arabic is a strong asset
