"Data Quality Engineer (Remote/Home Based – Jordan)
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Quality Engineer to join our team remotely from Jordan. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our data systems, supporting strong data governance and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, validate, and maintain data quality across data pipelines and systems
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to data quality standards
- Identify, triage, investigate, and resolve data quality issues
- Support data migration activities and ensure data accuracy during transitions
- Optimize code and improve performance of data processes
- Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists on data quality best practices
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data quality standards and processes
Requirements:
- 6 –7+ years of experience in data engineering, data quality, or related roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Strong Python programming skills
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices
- Experience with data modeling and automation
- Familiarity with dashboards and analytics tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and navigate ambiguous requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Prior experience in a dedicated data quality or data governance role is highly preferred
