Amman Baptist School is seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our high-performing science department.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach the required class load assigned and achieve the goals of the lesson in terms of preparation, resources and teaching methods
Apply and share academic knowledge in the specialization, the general framework of the curriculum, and the subject outcomes, and apply them with high efficiency and professionalism
Commit to daily preparation, planning of effective and active teaching experiences aligned with the syllabus and the MOE and/or Board’s timeline
Prepare semester and annual plans, considering the objectives, methods, tools, and timeline for distribution of outcomes
Adjust and modify the plan regularly with the supervision of the superior according to the students’ academic performance
Provide a supportive and stimulating learning environment to enhance students' learning opportunities
Ensure the implementation of scope and sequence
Prepare supporting resources and materials
Invigilate exams
Post all the announcements on the school’s platform
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of Chemistry teaching experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
