We are seeking a Software QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan, responsible for planning and executing high-quality manual and API testing across web and mobile platforms, contributing to Agile delivery processes, and ensuring product quality through usability, accessibility, and performance validation — ISTQB certification is mandatory, and experience in automation, penetration testing, or ISO/CMMI frameworks is a strong plus.
ISTQB certification is mandatory for this position.
Applicants must hold a valid ISTQB certificate (Foundation or higher).
Candidates without ISTQB certification will not be considered.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- ISTQB Certification is required (highlighted and mandatory).
- Strong experience in API testing (Postman).
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Experience in mobile application testing is a plus.
- Knowledge in Accessibility and Usability testing concepts.
- Experience with Automation or Performance Testing is a plus.
- Good understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
- Basic understanding of penetration testing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CMMI / ISO quality standards is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Proven experience in manual testing and defect lifecycle management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-moving and collaborative environments.
