About the Role
Accuindex is a leading fintech company providing advanced online trading solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team in Amman. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in networking, virtualization (hypervisors), SD-WAN, and enterprise-grade server infrastructure, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and low-latency performance.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust IT environment that supports our global trading platforms and ensures 99.99% uptime, regulatory compliance, and cyber resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Accuindex’s core IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, virtualization platforms, and datacenter equipment.
- Administer and optimize hypervisor environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar) ensuring maximum performance and redundancy.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SD-WAN and multi-site connectivity to ensure consistent system availability across regions.
- Deploy, manage, and support enterprise hardware infrastructure (Dell, HP, or similar) — servers, switches, and storage systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and access control systems.
- Ensure high network performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance through proactive monitoring, patching, and vulnerability assessments.
- Participate in disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning for critical trading systems.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, DevOps, and Cloud Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory adherence.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and infrastructure inventories.
- Provide tier-3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and assist in capacity and performance planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure management within fintech, banking, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with VMware/Hyper-V, SD-WAN, and advanced networking (switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
- Experience managing Dell or HP enterprise systems, SAN/NAS storage, and backup solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or hybrid setups) and security best practices.
- Solid understanding of network and system security principles, including compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, VCP, MCSA, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
