Job Summary
As a Follow-Up Specialist / Appointment Setter, you will play a central role in driving the sales pipeline by engaging potential prospects through structured outreach. Depending on your experience, you may work with B2B or B2C audiences. Your primary objective is to qualify leads, establish interest, and schedule high-quality appointments for the U.S. sales teams.
This is a performance-driven position requiring strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to guide conversations toward a clear next step. You will be responsible for initiating contact, identifying needs, handling objections, and maintaining accurate documentation within the CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach to potential prospects (B2B or B2C depending on assignment).
- Use established sales scripts effectively while adapting your tone and approach to different lead types.
- Identify prospect needs, gather key information, and determine qualification criteria.
- Handle objections professionally and keep the conversation focused and engaging.
- Schedule and coordinate qualified appointments for the U.S. sales teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the CRM to support smooth follow-through.
- Perform structured follow-ups to nurture warm or previously engaged prospects.
- Meet defined KPIs, including call activity, lead qualification rates, and booked appointments.
- Demonstrate strong communication, active listening, and rapport-building skills with prospects.
- Collaborate with team leads and U.S. partners to refine scripts, improve conversion performance, and enhance the overall sales process.
Qualifications
- Have at least 1-year experience in sales.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or a similar role (sales experience with U.S. market clients or with companies based in Amman that serve U.S. clients is preferred).
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask by typing quickly while speaking on the phone; tech-savvy.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
- Comfortable making outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus (training provided).
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and eager to learn.
