What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Be the Warm Welcome: Enthusiastically greet guests in person and over the phone. Give a special, personalized welcome to our IHG One Rewards members and returning guests.
- Master the Desk: Swiftly manage guest check-ins and check-outs. Take IDs, hand out room keys, manage safety deposit boxes, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Maximize the Stay: Answer phone calls promptly to handle inquiries, reservations, and cancellations. Share your local knowledge and identify up-selling opportunities to help guests make the most of their stay.
- Stay One Step Ahead: Anticipate guest needs by recording and acting on their personal preferences. Handle messages, requests, and concerns with care, bringing in management when needed.
- Work as One Team: Collaborate daily with other departments (like Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security) to ensure hotel operations run perfectly. Jump into ad-hoc duties to support your colleagues.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe environment by following all safety procedures and reporting incidents. Take pride in your appearance as a true ambassador of our brand.
