Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that help drive data-informed decision-making across the company. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into insightful reports and dashboards that support strategic and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain BI solutions (data models, dashboards, reports).
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all BI outputs.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Create visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to enhance data quality and availability.
- Support management with ad-hoc data analysis and performance metrics tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Good understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
