Role Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Mobile Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues, improve performance, and deliver a seamless mobile user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute mobile test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
- Test mobile apps on multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
- Identify, record, document, and track mobile-specific bugs and performance issues.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, UI/UX, and performance testing for mobile apps.
- Review app requirements and provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily standups (Agile/Scrum).
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and mobile QA activities.
- Continuously enhance mobile QA processes, tools, and test automation coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 1- 2 years of experience as a QA Mobile Tester or similar role.
- Hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, UI/UX principles, and device compatibility.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
