The Role: What You'll Do
- Build and ship backend services using C# / .NET Core.
- Develop REST APIs and backend components that power our platform.
- Work with Entity Framework Core + SQL to design reliable data flows.
- Partner closely with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end value.
- Improve code quality through reviews, testing, and clean architecture.
- Debug production issues and help drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute ideas that influence architecture, tooling, and product direction.
Requirements: Must-Haves
- 3–6+ years of hands-on development with C# / .NET Core.
- Strong experience building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET / Web API.
- Strong SQL skills and solid database design fundamentals, including experience with Entity Framework Core and Dapper ORM.
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (core web fundamentals).
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals: clean code, design patterns, secure coding.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and deliver reliable, production-ready features.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset.
Bonus Skills: Nice-to-Haves
- Minimum experience with emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development and machine learning.
- Experience with message brokers and distributed systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Understanding of observability and monitoring (logging, metrics, tracing) of systems.
