Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a KAIZEN / Accountant. This role entails day-to-day tasks such as providing daily accounting operations with some HR tasks. The role is located in Amman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all daily accounting operations and entries, including expenses, revenues, and journal vouchers.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Manage accounts receivable and payable and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Fully manage the payroll process, including:
- Calculating monthly salaries.
- Deductions (Social Security, Income Tax, loans, absences, etc.).
- Preparing payroll sheets and bank transfers.
- Handling Social Security and insurance registrations and monthly settlements.
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide all required financial data.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and legal obligations.
- Perform any additional financial or administrative tasks assigned within the job scope.
- Extra HR experience is Plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in full-cycle accounting. (Extra is NOT an advantage)
- Proficiency in Zoho Books (required) and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid knowledge of local tax regulations, labor law, and social security procedures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
