Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director/Manager of Data & Artificial Intelligence, located in Qatar. The Director/Manager of Data & Artificial Intelligence will oversee the development and implementation of AI strategies, manage data analytics projects, and lead a team of data scientists and AI specialists. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing data-driven solutions, monitoring AI systems, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
· Master’s degree in Data Analytics, AI, or Digital Transformation preferred.
· Professional certifications in Data Management, AI/ML, or Analytics (e.g., DAMA, AWS/Azure AI,
TensorFlow, PMP-DA) are an advantage.
- Preferred experience
· 10–12 years’ experience in data management, analytics, or AI leadership roles, preferably in government
or large-scale organizations.
· Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data and AI strategies.
· Exposure to GCC or international public-sector digital transformation programs.
- Technical & Other Skills
· Proficiency in data platforms, AI/ML frameworks, and analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI,
TensorFlow, Azure/AWS/Google AI).
· Strong knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
· Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
· Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills
· Excellent communication and reporting skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Fluency in Arabic and English required.
