Accountabilities & Key Roles
- Design the internal communication strategy and framework.
- Develop storytelling/ internal communication content that strengthen the internal brand and employee value proposition
- Ensure consistent and effective internal communication across the organization.
- Drive internal communication campaigns to strengthen employee understanding of the bank’s value proposition and brand promise.
Strategy & Planning :
- Design and implement the Bank’s internal communication strategy in alignment with overall Brand platform, corporate communicate strategy and HR objectives.
- Develop communication frameworks to support organizational transformation, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure internal communication consistency across all departments, function and countries.
- Plan and implement internal communication plan and communication campaigns in coordination with HR, relevant departments and countries.
Content development & execution :
- Craft clear, engaging and culturally relevant communication content for multiple internal channels in Arabic and English (Emails, newsletters, circulars, announcements, intranets. Etc.)
- Support leadership messaging by drafting speeches, talking points, Q&A and announcements for executives.
- Develop storytelling that strengthen the internal brand and employee value proposition
- Bring creativity into campaigns by using visuals, gamification, and interactive formats to increase impact and engagement
- Coordinate with external creative and production agencies and manage the creative and production process based on set plans and budgets
Channels and platform Management:
- Oversee the development and constant enhancement of internal communication platforms (intranet, employee app, digital signage,. Etc) ensuring accessibility and high engagement.
- Evaluate effectiveness of channels and recommend improvements based on employee feedback and analytics.
Employee engagement and culture :
- Drive initiatives to promote two-way communication, employee recognition, and cultural alignment in coordination with HR department
- Partner with HR and Head of Functions and Countries to communicate programs (training, wellbeing, polices, performance management, diversity & inclusion, etc..)
Measurement and Reporting :
- Monitor communication effectiveness through surveys, analytics, and KPI’s
- Prepare regular reports for management on employee engagement, reach, and impact of internal communication campaigns.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing / communications / or related field from a recognized University (Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- +10 years of experience .
Competencies:
- Established strategic and project management expertise.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling skills in Arabic and English.
- Proven track record in developing internal communication strategies and change management .
- Experience managing multiple communication channels, including digital platforms.
- Proven creative and analytical skills.
- Digital and AI literacy and familiarity with AI powered communication tools, employee engagement apps, and collaboration platforms ( Yammer, Workplace,…etc.).
- Strong communication and writing skills (including Arabic).
- Experience in training/coaching employees on communication.
- Ability to design and deliver communication frameworks and campaigns.
- Knowledge of industry standards and agency practices.
- Capable of articulating value propositions clearly and leading strategic projects.
- Solid understanding of both strategic branding and practical execution.
- Experience managing multiple communication channels, including digital platforms.
