What You’ll Do
Frontend (Primary)
- Build high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
- Craft visually stunning designs with CSS, SCSS and Tailwind CSS, ensuring consistent branding and UX across devices.
- Implement real-time features with WebSockets, Socket.IO, or equivalent to deliver interactive experiences.
- Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, accessible UI components.
- Optimize frontend performance, SEO, and accessibility in a modern web environment.
Backend (Secondary)
- Develop and maintain backend services with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and/or microservices.
- Manage containerized services with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Configure and maintain Nginx as a reverse proxy.
- Work with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB) for data storage and retrieval.
Collaboration & Quality
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Advocate for best practices in UI/UX, testing, and deployment automation.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on frontend development.
- Deep expertise in React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture.
- Strong skills in CSS, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience building real-time applications with WebSockets or similar.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Basic to intermediate backend skills in Node.js and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, and Nginx.
- Knowledge of at least one database (PostgreSQL, SQL, or MongoDB).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Nest.js.
- Familiarity with cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Background in microservices or modular frontend architectures.
