About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help us automate parts of our platform that currently require human intervention. This role involves applying AI to solve practical problems—from streamlining workflows to creating intelligent user experiences.
One key project will involve building a fast, voice-enabled chatbot, but your work will go beyond that, contributing to broader automation initiatives that integrate with our existing systems. You’ll collaborate closely with our architecture team to explore the best AI-driven solutions for the job.
We are not dogmatic about specific technologies—you’ll help us validate and adapt approaches based on real-world performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deploy AI-powered features that automate user or internal workflows.
- Develop and integrate a responsive chatbot with voice capabilities (text-to-speech and speech-to-text).
- Evaluate and apply AI techniques such as large language models, retrieval systems, and context management as needed.
- Work within the existing software architecture and coordinate closely with architects and other engineers.
- Prototype and test AI components quickly to validate ideas, then bring successful ones into production.
- Monitor and optimize performance, accuracy, and response time of AI systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on building production systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML, especially language models or NLP applications.
- Ability to independently research, experiment, and apply appropriate AI techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and engineering skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Familiarity with integrating APIs, handling structured/unstructured data, and working across system boundaries.
- Experience with conversational AI, voice interfaces, or automation of human workflows.
- Familiarity with tools like RAG, vector search, or workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n), even at a conceptual level.
- Understanding of how to optimize AI systems for speed, resource usage, and reliability.
