Position: QA Engineer (Mid-Level)
Are you a detail-oriented QA professional with a passion for software quality and automation? CDC is seeking a QA Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing to join our growing team in Amman, Jordan.
We are building reliable, scalable digital systems and need quality-focused engineers who can ensure high standards across every release.
Responsibilities
- Develop Test Scenarios after analysing business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents
- Execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases on web applications and API interfaces
- Document and track software defects using standard bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ensure delivery of high-quality software in accordance with industry best practices
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and STLC
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright and Postman (for API testing) or similar tools.
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and test plans
- Basic SQL skills and ability to validate data across systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or Java to be used in test automation
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
