About the Role
Gadora Tobacco PSC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our Aqaba facility. This role is key in supporting our budgeting, forecasting, and cost management functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, excellent SAP and Excel skills, and the ability to deliver accurate, insightful reports that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Budget Preparation and Coordination
- Populate budget templates for departmental use
- Consolidate and analyze initial budget responses
- Upload approved budgets into BPC and SAP
Management Accounting
- Generate monthly expense reports and investigate variances
- Prepare variance analysis reports and management accounts
- Initiate corrections for misallocations
Product Costing and Conversion Charges
- Establish standard costing rates
- Conduct reforecasts and produce cost conversion charges for internal use, customers, and third parties
Quarterly Expense Reforecast
- Coordinate reforecasting process and consolidate departmental responses
- Analyze trends and deviations for senior management use
- Upload final reforecast into SAP
Special Projects Evaluation
- Perform financial analyses to assess feasibility and value of new projects
What We’re Looking For
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (essential)
- Professional memberships such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management accounting or leaf accounting role
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and accounting systems
- Strong SAP and Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Competent in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English & Arabic
Work Context and Environment
- Office-based role with 90% of the time spent seated
- No travel or fieldwork required
- Low physical risk and no exposure to hazardous environments
