Senior AI Engineer
Are you an experienced Senior AI Engineer with a passion for solving real-world problems using AI? Do you thrive in fast-moving environments and want to play a key role in building a new AI capability from scratch?
SCT offers a unique opportunity to be part of a new, growing AI team within an established IoT company. You'll have the autonomy, ownership, and technical challenge of designing scalable AI systems — with the added benefit of a dynamic, supportive environment that encourages innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- AI System Design: Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to enhance SCT’s product offerings and operational efficiency.
- Emerging Technologies: Work with advanced AI methods — including LLMs, time-series analysis, and anomaly detection — and apply them in the context of smart devices and connected systems.
- Product Integration: Collaborate with product and IoT engineering teams to embed intelligent decision-making into our platforms.
- Optimization & Monitoring: Continuously evaluate model performance in production and iterate for improvement.
- Data Engineering: Build and maintain robust data pipelines for structured and unstructured data from IoT sensors, devices, and platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, ideally with exposure to IoT data or real-time systems.
- LLMs and Beyond: Hands-on experience with LLMs, foundation models, or generative AI is a strong plus.
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Coding Skills: Proficiency in Python (preferred), and familiarity with ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.
- Tooling: Experience with modern AI/ML stacks and frameworks such as Langchain, LlamaIndex, Weaviate, and real-time processing tools is a plus.
- Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, a builder’s mentality, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
