Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution in Jordan, is seeking a motivated and experienced DevOps Clerk to join our team. Responsibilities
- Automate software build, deployment, and testing processes using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Git
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality, security, and scalability
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to software and infrastructure
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Develop and maintain documentation for software development and deployment processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and agile methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 0-1 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a cross-functional team
