What You'll Do
As an SDE-II, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced distributed systems. You’ll shape long-term architecture, drive critical technical decisions, and deliver high-quality solutions in an agile, startup-like setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions that enhance durability, performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Write clean, high-quality code for distributed systems and backend infrastructure.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing automation, and continuous integration.
- Take ownership of key projects, from architecture through execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define roadmaps and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships).
- 4+ years of experience in system design/architecture focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Strong coding skills in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#) with object-oriented design.
- Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years managing the full software development lifecycle: version control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and deployment.
- Experience with additional programming languages and tools such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach in agile environments.
