Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Amman, Jordan, for a Teller Officer / Cash Officer (Payment Services Provider Transactions) at iCASH. The Teller Officer will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The role also requires providing efficient and professional service to customers while adhering to company policies and regulations.
As a Teller Officer / Cash Officer (Payment Services Provider Transactions), you will be responsible for executing payment service provider transactions, processing bill payments, and ensuring smooth customer interactions. You will serve as the primary frontliner for customer care, onboarding new customers, and supporting agents through back-office functions. Additionally, you will manage relationships with agents, provide them with ongoing support, and handle their financial operations to ensure seamless collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing cash, verifying account details, and balancing cash drawers
- Execute payment service providers’ transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Process bill payments and related financial services
- Provide outstanding customer care and support at the branch level.
- Onboard new customers and guide them through services
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with agents, acting as their key point of contact.
- Support agents with their financial operations and resolve any transactional issues.
- Manage agents’ back-office operations to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for customers and agents alike
- Keeping accurate records of all transactions, adhering to company procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- A Jordanian national residing in Mafraq with a valid Jordanian driving license
- Cash handling and financial transaction processing skills
- Customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Knowledge of digital payment systems and financial services
- Proficiency in computer applications and office software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Experience in the financial or banking industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
- At least one year of relevant experience as a teller officer, cash officer, or in a similar role at a bank or exchange house
