DevOps Engineer Team Lead to drive the evolution of our infrastructure, automation practices, and DevOps culture. The DevOps Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding the DevOps function within the organization, ensuring the successful deployment, scalability, security, and reliability of infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. This role bridges the gap between development and operations, enabling fast and safe product iterations. The objective is to lead a high-performing DevOps team, drive automation, and enforce best practices across CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure as code, and cloud services

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring alignment with project goals and delivery timelines.
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline software delivery and improve release frequency
- Oversee infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient in cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies across environments.
- Enforce DevSecOps practices and ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks).
- Own and improve release management, rollback strategies, canary deployments, and blue-green deployments.
- Coordinate with InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure and deployment processes meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage team KPIs, budgets, tooling decisions, and resource planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science,Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of DevOps principles, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated services (EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system performance optimization.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g.,Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python,Go) and version control (Git).
Years Of Experience
7–10 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership or management capacity.

- Proactive and results-oriented with the ability to manage priorities in dynamic environments.

Communication And Interaction
- Acts as a key liaison between engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams.
- Communicates technical roadmaps, challenges, and KPIs to stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitates incident response coordination, postmortems, and reliability reviews.
- Leads DevOps knowledge sharing sessions, retrospectives, and process improvement initiatives.
- Partners with procurement, compliance, and finance teams for tooling, licensing, and cost optimization efforts.
