About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior QA Engineer with a robust background in
automation testing for both
web and
mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving software quality and possess expertise in
test automation frameworks, API testing, and
performance testing. Experience in the
insurance or
InsurTech sector is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct comprehensive API testing to validate backend services and integrations.
- Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve software defects.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and data protection standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Document and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Provide quality assurance reports to promote continuous improvement in the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insurance domain testing, including policy issuance, claims processing, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with insurance IT systems such as policy administration, billing, customer portals, risk assessment, and fraud detection platforms.
- Knowledge of compliance-driven testing for insurance regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, IFRS 17).
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and advanced automation frameworks.
- Understanding of insurance data security challenges, including legacy system integrations, encryption, and secure data storage.
- Experience in security compliance testing (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
