In my current position as a QA team lead at Saudi Tabadul (Elm), I am responsible for leading a team of 15 QA engineers. Under my leadership, Kindly find my daily basis duties below:
1- Leading and mentoring the QA team (onsite and offshore)
1- ensuring high-quality software that meets project standards and enhances user satisfaction
2- developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies
3- managing defect lifecycles
4- improving testing processes and automation
5- communication with stakeholders
6- inspecting the given requirements
7- giving estimations for all QA tasks
8- Reviewing the QA team test cases and test scripts
9- giving orientation sessions
10- performing functional and none functional tests
11- reporting bugs
12- preparing test plan and test closure documents
13- performing regression, sanity, smoke, acceptance, UAT, integration, system and Unit tests
14- configuring application servers and DB vendors and using them in setting up the environments
15- controlling the deployment on the testing and UAT environments and configuring them
16- executing manual and automated test scripts
17- performing backend and frontend tests (UI, DB, API)
18- discussing bugs with development team and all concerned teams (ICP, Integration, MQ, network ... etc)
19- guiding the UAT sessions with the client for each CR
20- Supporting other teams’ requests
21- Supporting the team technically and personally and trying to solve any problem that they are facing
22- Dividing the tasks between the QA team members
