About
I am a passionate and results-driven Economic Development and Private Sector Development Specialist with over twelve years of experience designing and managing high-impact programs for organizations such as USAID, World Vision International, and Local and International NGOs. I am writing to express my interest in opportunities that allow me to leverage my expertise to drive sustainable growth and achieve meaningful social impact.
My career has been dedicated to a core belief: that true and lasting development is achieved by empowering local economies, incentivizing private investment, and building effective, well-designed public-private partnerships. I thrive on designing strategies that move beyond theory to create realistic, measurable change on the ground. My focus has consistently been on fostering green growth, promoting a circular economy, and ensuring that economic advancement is both inclusive and sustainable.
At USAID/Jordan, I translated this passion into action by managing a significant portfolio focused on market systems development, SME growth, and access to finance. I led the design of a $50M project to boost international trade, managed a $75M initiative supporting micro-enterprises, and always ensured our work strengthened local capacity and promoted green economic opportunities. My current consultancy work allows me to extend this impact, helping international NGOs secure funding and develop robust strategies that turn innovative ideas into actionable, fundable programs.
I am now seeking a new challenge with an organization that shares my commitment to creating tangible social impact through strategic economic development. I am confident that my proven skills in strategic planning, program design, stakeholder engagement, and my unwavering motivation to achieve impactful goals would make me a valuable asset to the team.
