As a well-qualified Environment and Climate Change Specialist with over 20 years of experience, I have become well versed in the
nuances of the development and implementation of environment preservation strategies including water resources management,
food security, and wastewater management. I have a proven history of adeptly running and completing a high volume of
responsibilities including climate environment and social safeguards, climate finance and M&E, while coordinating effectively across
all levels. I take pride in working with international bilateral and multilateral organizations such as USAID, GIZ, AFD, WB and some UN
organizations including UNDP, UNIDO, and UNEP. Additionally, I also have extensive experience and capabilities at in engaging
stakeholders in the development process both nationally and internationally under TS.
Moreover, my sharp attention to detail and negotiation skills, my determined work ethic, and my keenness for top-notch efficacy
will surely make me a strong contributor to this position.
I currently am serving as the Jordan In-Country Facilitator for United Nations, Climate Change Secretariat - Mitigation Division and
some of my key responsibilities are:
Coordinating and aligning the implementation of the NDC Action Plan by engaging relevant line ministries and international
partners
Establishing regular meetings with relevant sectors and implementing partners to assess progress while sharing information
with all implementing partners involved in NDC-related activities in the country
Monitoring other activities related to the implementation of the NDC Action Plan, as instructed by the SG at the Ministry of
Environment
Consistently coordinating with the NDC Partnership Support Unit on vertical (national, regional, global) information sharing,
including contribution to and access to knowledge products
