About the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative Multimedia Designer with 1-3 years of experience working with established brands, preferably within an agency environment.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager & Account Lead, Regional Social Media Director, and Creative team to produce visual and video content driven by social strategy, audience behavior, content objectives, and performance.
Social & Content
- Understand how content and visual design influence social media performance.
- Understand the content strategy before editing work.
- Identify each piece of content's objective and key performance metric before developing the creative.
- Understand social media algorithms, content distribution, virality, reach, and engagement.
- Create content based on the audience, platform, objective, and intended outcome.
Graphic Design
- Develop strong visual treatments based on creative briefs and campaign objectives.
- Ensure creative aligns with brand identity and visual guidelines.
- Adapt designs across platforms, formats, and placements.
- Apply strong principles of composition, typography, visual hierarchy, and storytelling.
Video & Motion
- Transform long-form content into engaging short-form videos.
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form and social-first video content.
- Create motion graphics, animations, transitions, and dynamic compositions.
- Apply a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, hooks, audience retention, and platform-specific video formats.
Creative
- Turn creative briefs into strong, original visual executions.
- Bring new visual references, trends, techniques, and creative approaches to the team.
- Understand what makes creative effective for different audiences, platforms, and objectives.
- Collaborate with Social and Creative teams to develop work that is visually and strategically relevant.
- Maintain high standards of creative quality, consistency, and execution.
Workflow & Collaboration
- Work closely with Social and Creative teams.
- Follow brand guidelines, creative workflows, approval processes, and agency protocols.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and revisions with strong ownership and organization.
- Present creative concepts and visual directions clearly and confidently.
- Incorporate feedback effectively to strengthen the final output.
Innovation & Technology
- Stay updated on AI tools, creative technologies, production techniques, and emerging formats.
- Use AI and emerging tools to improve ideation, design, video production, editing, and workflows.
- Experiment with new techniques while maintaining strong creative fundamentals and quality.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Motion Design, Video Production, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio and showreel required, demonstrating both design and video capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other software.
- Strong understanding of graphic design, video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of social-first creative and digital content formats.
- Strong creative judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate briefs into high-quality work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, accountable, organized, and highly responsive.
