Company Description Sporter is the leading online destination in the MENA and GCC regions for sports supplements, vitamins, healthy foods, and sportswear, helping individuals improve their health and quality of life. Founded in 2012, the company now focuses on their own brand Sporter and its being considred as fastest growing brand on the GCC region .
About the role
We carry Many of SKUs across our own brands and the brands we distribute. Someone has to decide what we buy, how much, and when — and spot the stock that’s about to become a problem before it does. That’s this role.
Growth makes that harder and more interesting. Demand moves fast, campaigns spike overnight, a stockout costs you the sale and the customer, and expiry dates don’t wait. You’ll be the person keeping that balance right as the business scales.
You’ll own demand planning and inventory health across all our brands, and work alongside the commercial team on B2B orders, pricing input, and category performance.
Demand planning & inventory
- Build and maintain demand forecasts for Sporter brands and partner brands using sales history, seasonality, promotional calendars, and market trends
- Convert forecasts into replenishment plans and purchase recommendations, and share them with the purchasing team with clear quantities and timing
- Monitor inventory health across SKUs: coverage, stock turns, days of supply, overstock, and out-of-stock risk
- Identify and manage risky stock (slow-moving, near-expiry, excess, and obsolete items) and propose clearance, bundling, promotion, or redistribution actions
- Plan stock around agreed activations and promotions, and measure their impact on demand
- Track forecast accuracy and continuously improve the planning process
- Perform stock analysis and provide recommended actions to the relevant stakeholders
Sales & B2B operations
- Create sales orders and fulfill B2B orders end to end, from confirmation through delivery
- Assess sales and profitability performance by category and brand, and report on results
- Support the Commercial Manager in setting prices for new brands by gathering and sharing competitor pricing within the same category
- Review and improve the order process for the category across the company
- Handle wholesale inquiries and support the Commercial Manager with wholesale accounts
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and finance to ensure orders ship accurately and on time
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, category management, or sales operations, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Excellent written and spoken English is required — this role involves daily correspondence with international brand partners and B2B customers — along with fluent Arabic
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, forecasting models); experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus
- Comfortable working with data and turning it into clear recommendations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple brands and priorities at once
- Retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or sports nutrition background is an advantage
Why Sporter
- Growth you can see. We’re expanding across the GCC — new brands, new markets, more customers every quarter — and this role grows with it.
- Real ownership. This isn’t a role where you run reports someone else acts on. Your forecasts and stock recommendations drive what the business buys and sells.
