Role Description The Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based at the University of Petra campus in Amman.
The role is responsible for creating engaging, high-quality content that brings the University’s stories, people, and experiences to life across its digital platforms.
A key part of this role is visual storytelling. We are looking for someone who can go beyond simply documenting an event or activity and identify the story behind it — transforming everyday university moments, events, lectures, research, student activities, and campus experiences into compelling content that captures attention and connects with audiences.
The Content Creator will be responsible for filming and covering events and activities taking place across the University, capturing both planned and spontaneous moments, conducting interviews, and producing short-form and long-form video content for social media and other digital channels.
Day-to-day responsibilities include researching what is happening across campus, identifying content opportunities, developing concepts and story angles, filming, editing, writing and adapting content in both Arabic and English, and collaborating with academic faculties and administrative units.
The role requires someone who is proactive and curious — someone who can recognize a content opportunity, find the right human angle, and use strong filming, interviewing, editing, and storytelling techniques to turn it into engaging content.
