Role Description The SAP FICO Sr. Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman. The consultant will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions, ensuring alignment with clients’ finance and controlling processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping them to SAP functionalities, and driving end-to-end solution delivery. The role involves preparing functional specifications, collaborating with technical teams, conducting system testing, and supporting data migration and integration activities. The consultant will also provide user training, post-go-live support, and continuous process improvements, while contributing to proposals and solution roadmaps for new and existing clients.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in SAP FICO, including core Finance and Controlling modules, with proven experience in implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience with CO-PA and related controlling functionalities to support detailed profitability analysis and reporting.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Business Processes in finance and accounting, including record-to-report, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for translating complex business requirements into robust SAP solutions and insightful financial reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably within banking, telecommunications, enterprise, or government sectors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior team members.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills and regional experience in the Middle East is beneficial.
