Job Objectives
Executes the operational HR strategy and manages daily departmental functions under the HR Director's guidance. Acts as an operational partner to support departments, overseeing HR operations, HRMS integrity, ticketing, employee lifecycle, payroll, attendance, and performance administration while leading the internal HR team.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Operational HR Execution & Departmental Support
- Execute HR directives and frameworks under the guidance of the HR Director.
- Partner with Operations, Team Leaders, and Department Managers on day-to-day people matters, performance, attendance, productivity, and retention.
- Translate departmental HR initiatives into daily practices that improve employee satisfaction, productivity, and cross-functional alignment.
- HR Operations, HRMS & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage daily HR operations and the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, employee changes, and separation.
- Oversee HR requests and ticketing, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Ensure HRMS accuracy, data quality, workflow efficiency, and consistent implementation of HR policies and processes.
- Ensure accurate HR data management, optimize daily workflows, and maintain compliance for employee files and disciplinary records.
- Support the rollout and administration of digital HR transformations (e.g., HRIS module updates) across the organization.
- Payroll & Attendance Management
- Manage monthly payroll inputs, validation, and reconciliation with Finance, including attendance, overtime, deductions, allowances, incentives, commissions, and employee changes.
- Ensure accurate attendance and leave management, monitor absenteeism, and resolve attendance-related issues..
- Performance & Talent Management
- Coordinate performance management, including KPIs, coaching, PIPs, calibration, and documentation.
- Support TA with onboarding and collaborate with L&D on talent development.
- Support internal mobility, career progression, and succession initiatives under the HR Director's framework.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, conflicts, attendance, and performance cases.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies and maintain proper documentation.
- Escalate high-risk, sensitive, or legal matters to the HR Director.
- Culture & Employee Engagement
- Implement engagement, recognition, retention, and wellness initiatives.
- Facilitate employee feedback and engagement activities and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular HR reports covering headcount, turnover, recruitment, attendance, absenteeism, employee movements, performance, and other HR KPIs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the HR Director based on HR data.
- HR Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor the HR team, including HR Specialists and HR Admin Assistants.
- Manage workload, priorities, performance, accountability, and HR service delivery.
- Build team capability and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD are preferred)
Years Of Experience
7 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership, HR operations, and administration.

- Accountability & Drive: Proficient in maintaining attention to detail, taking ownership of outcomes, and pursuing continuous self-development.
Technical & Functional Requirements
- HR Policy & Employee Relations: Expertise in integrated HR policy design, implementation, and high-stakes employee relations/labor law application; Proficient in non-operational compliance and risk identification.
- Performance Systems: Proficient in independently running full appraisal cycles, coaching on KPIs, and administrating performance management systems.
- Digital HR & Process Optimization: Advanced in workflow management and Microsoft Office Suite (developing efficient tools/reports); Proficient in HRIS digital transformation, module rollouts, data quality governance, and end-to-end process mapping.
- Financial Acumen: Working knowledge of applying financial concepts and evaluating implications for operational HR decisions
