Job Purpose:
To supervise and coordinate production operations to achieve daily targets while maintaining quality, safety, productivity, and efficient use of resources.
Key job responsibilities
- Production planning and scheduling.
- Supervising daily production activities and the production team to ensure that correct formulations and proper quality control procedures are followed.
- Ensuring production targets and schedules are achieved.
- Streamline production processes, identify and remove production bottlenecks.
- Monitoring product quality and compliance with approved procedures.
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements.
- Coordinating with the Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.
- Preparing production reports and following up on operational issues
Experience & qualifications
- University Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences.
- 2-3 years’ experience in paints / chemicals manufacturing industry.
- Team building and manpower management.
- Dynamic, analytical and dedicated with a hands on, can do attitude.
- Computer literate. Knowledge of AutoCad preferable
