About the Project
This project supports the post-training of frontier AI coding agents and large language models. As these models get better at writing and reviewing code, the harder problem becomes teaching them to explain code well: to write pull request descriptions and commit messages that are accurate, clear, and genuinely useful to the engineers who read them.
Coding assistants are now part of how software gets built, but a model that writes code without explaining it clearly creates as many problems as it solves. Good PR descriptions and commit history are what let teams review changes, catch mistakes, and understand a codebase months later. Teaching models to produce that quality directly improves the tools engineers rely on every day.
What the work involves
- Architect High-Impact Features: Drop directly into elite open-source codebases (like Ollama, vLLM, and AutoGen) to engineer critical infrastructure—from complex GPU telemetry to LLM state management.
- Ship Pristine, Modular Code: Build highly optimized, surgical solutions that seamlessly integrate into massive architectures. No monolithic files; just elegant, scalable, and battle-tested logic.
- Curate a Masterclass in Version Control: Transform your Git history into a compelling technical narrative. You will write atomic, conventional commits that act as a definitive guide for future engineers, explaining the why and how behind every line.
- Redefine the Pull Request: Write PRs that read like top-tier engineering blogs. You will deliver highly structured, analytical documentation that clearly breaks down data flows, justifies architectural trade-offs, and proves success with undeniable empirical data.
What you'll need
- A strong software engineering or programming background, comfortable reading code across common languages.
- A solid grasp of Git: pull requests, commits, and code diffs.
- Excellent written English, with the ability to explain technical changes clearly and to spot when an explanation misses the mark.
- Experience reviewing PRs or writing technical documentation.
- Familiarity with code review, developer tooling, or open-source contribution.
How hiring works

- On-site onboarding — those who pass come to our Amman offices for roughly 1–2 days, so our team can help you get set up and prepare for the client's assessment.
- Client assessment — a formal assessment run by the end client.
- Offer — candidates who pass become eligible for hiring on a full-time monthly contract.
Terms
Confirmed hires work 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday, on a full-time monthly contract. The role continues on an ongoing basis once performance is confirmed.
